February 17 - "How I Make My Poems" with Alfred Nicol, Member of the Powwow River Poets, editor, The Powwow River Anthology and author of three collections of poetry. Alfred's work has also been included in "Best American Poetry (2018)."

March 10 -"Ireland, America and Writing Poetry," with Irish-American poets, Ellie O'Leary, poet laureate of Amesbury, and Anne Mulvey, member, Powwow River Poets and Professor Emerita of Psychology at UMass Lowell.

April 7 - "Why and How I Blog" with food and wellness writer Lisa C. Johnson, a freelance writer and attorney writing on food, wellness and current events on her personal blog, Anali's Next Amendment. Also : publications in "Craving Boston", "Legal Zoom," "South Shore Living" and "The Atlantic."

May 12 - "How To Get Started Writing Down Your Memoirs." with Priscilla M. Bellairs, professor emeritus of English, Northern essex Community College (NECC), and experienced memoir workshop facilitator.

The 2022 author series is supported by a grant from the Newburyport Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
