Did you know that in 1935 Matisse illustrated a version of Joyce's Ulysses or that Salvador Dali once illustrated a version of Alice in Wonderland? The connection between artist and writer is full of lovely couplings and we want your chid or grandchild to be the next!

Encourage them to to paint or draw a picture inspired by a favorite book. Bring it into the library and we will feature these masterpieces on the walls and post them on our website. We love artists in residence too - come into the library on any Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00 or 1:00 - 3:00 and drawing supplies will be ready for the children to make their works of art. Books, of course, are always available.
